TIMELINES: A CHRONOLOGY FROM 1970 TO 1981
1970
Discovered the Theatre and joined the Stage crew.
Film: Translocation in the Squash Plant Director/ Editor
1971
Wrote and Directed my first play, Six O'Clock With Sonja Smits, Nick Bailey and Peter Lackey
1972
My second play Laugh-Cry featured Sonja Smits again and was directed by CJ Lundy. It was awarded the Thérèse May memorial Scholarship for Playwrighting at the EODL One Act Play Competition in Lindsay ON by Norma Springford
1973
The University of Ottawa produces my play: Without a Doubt
1974
Awarded the Woodroffe High School Drama Award Enrolled in the Theatre Department at the University of Ottawa
1974-78
Continued Theatrical studies at the University of Ottawa Writing, Directing, Design and Technical Theatre

1980/81
Attended National Theatre School Design Section until called back in April by the
National Arts Centre to redesign the touring set for John Gray's Rock and Roll
for the NAC's Theatre Department
1981
Designed other shows for newly opened Atelier at the National Arts Centre
First promotional trip to get Design work nationally.
Over 20 Productions were completed in my first season as a
Set Costume and Lighting Designer and Scenic Painter.
