Humber River Golf Course-Deer Lake, NL   ph. 709-635-5955

This course has been around for over 12 years and is a great one to walk  since it is fairly level and relatively short. But make sure your tee shots (and others) are straight since the narrow fairways mean that you can quickly add strokes when you hit the ball into the trees. Also you get good views of the Humber River along a par 5 which parallels the river. The course has a driving range, clubhouse and power carts. On our recent round we saw lots of wildlife (see below) and the rock gardens tended by the members really add to the beauty of the course.
