Extra Help:
Supplemental Instruction (or SI) may available for this course. This is a tutoring session led by a student who has successfully
completed the course. The availability will be announced in class early in
the semester.

Additional help can be obtained from Peer Tutors in the Learning Centre. Peer tutors are students who
have successfully completed the course. Their one-on-one tutoring may be of some help to
you. The peer tutor schedule will posted on the Learning Centre notice board and on their
web site. The peer tutor room of the Learning Centre is located in the Student Services
annex.
Laboratory Schedule:

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- The MasteringPhysics pre-lab
on-line quiz must be submitted before 8:00 AM on the morning of the
experiment for your lab section.
- Should you fail to submit the pre-lab
quiz
before the deadline, you will be barred
from the corresponding lab and obtain a zero grade for that lab.
- Attendance in all lab/tutorial sessions is mandatory.
Exception from a laboratory experiment is granted only for illness, duly
authenticated by a mediacal certificate (see University Regulation 14.4).
No more than two exceptions will normally be granted.
- A passing grade
in laboratory work is required in order to pass the course.
