Works for Chorus

3. Alleluia, Op. 27 (1982)

This work is a setting for SATB of Pachelbel's Canon. It was written for high-school choirs but is a fairly challenging work.

2. Missa Silvatica (Missa Brevis #1), Op. 26 (1981)

This setting of the ordinary of the mass (without a credo) won first prize in the Competition for Newfoundland Choral Composers in 1981. It is quite challenging for the chorus. Its greatest strenght (I have been told) is the very sympathetic setting of the Latin text. It has been recorded by the Memorial University of Newfoundland Chamber Choir and was published by Waterloo Music.

1. Let There Be Light, a Choral Fanfare, Op. 21 (1977)

This work is an adaptation for chorus of one of my Four Odes and Fanfares for Brass and Timpaniwritten in 1977. The choral writing is quite simple and is augmented by three trumpets and organ.
