Because It's Facebook

This work gives me the most joy. I am in constant anticipation of when the next message will arrive. It all started when I finally caved and got Facebook. Why? Because no one I know well uses the phone or other online journals much at all anymore. Facebook has taken over. To stay in contact, I got Facebook.

One of the very first things I did upon getting Facebook was add the graffiti application (good little art student that I am). This application allows you to draw images on other people's Facebook walls. What happened next was history.

My good friend Robyn, decides to draw on my wall. But she doesn't draw just anything, oh no. She draws something that appeals to one of our many odd similarities...love of Joss Wheadon in a particular way that I don't think could be described unless you knew already.

From that point on we have drawn images back and forth on each other's walls which make references and only references to Joss. Some are slightly more obscure than others. The real kicker of this is that each image brings up a number of moments and references from the Jossverse. We both know quite intimately the connotations that come with the image, along with the certain special dialogue they create that is unique to our real life conversations (you can seriously link everything back to tv). I'd explain further but then we'd look like even bigger geeks and we'd have to kill you all. *Insert "Curse your sudden yet inevitable betrayl!" here*
